Ticinonews - A new healthcare facility opens in Bellinzona: Centromedico Castello
Two thousand five hundred square meters spread over three floors in a completely renovated building. This is the new Centromedico Bellinzona Castello, which will open its doors and facilities to the public today from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Operational since last fall, the facility brings together the outpatient clinic of Ars Medica, the first Ticino location of Swiss Visio Network—specializing in ophthalmology—and, on the top floor, a physical therapy center. There are two operating rooms on the ground floor for outpatient procedures, explains Deputy Director Jacopo Dandrea.
“At the moment, we mainly perform procedures related to hand surgery and ophthalmology, but these are multidisciplinary spaces, so they are open to all specialties suitable for outpatient care,” he tells us.
